Votes now count exactly once
We fixed a bug that could count a vote twice, and made joining and voting steadier for large crowds.
What shipped
- Votes count once. In some cases a single tap was added to the total twice. That is fixed, and existing totals were recounted.
- Steadier for big crowds. Joining a room and looking up an event are lighter, so a crowd arriving at the same moment is handled more smoothly.
- Fewer connections per phone. When the fast route is working, phones no longer open an extra live connection, which keeps large rooms comfortable.
Why it matters
Numbers on the screen can be trusted, and bigger rooms stay fast. This was tested with hundreds of simulated phones before and after.
