Live events keep running even if our database is slow
Joining, voting, asking, polls, the word cloud, quizzes and threads now run on our live service, so a slow database no longer slows your event.
What shipped
- Everything your audience does during an event runs on our live service. Joining, voting, asking questions, polls, the word cloud, quizzes, thread answers and the leaderboard no longer wait on the database.
- Moderation is instant. Approving, rejecting, putting a question on screen and panelists' answers take effect at once.
- Nothing is lost. Everything is saved to your event's records a moment later, in the background, and kept safe until it is.
- Bigger rooms stay live. Live updates can now spread one room across several machines.
