A dropped connection no longer loses a question or an approval
Phones keep a question typed offline and send it when the signal returns, and host screens wait to save a change instead of showing it as done too early.
What shipped
- Questions survive a bad signal. If an attendee's connection drops as they tap Send, the question is saved on their phone and sent by itself when they are back online, even after a refresh. It is never sent twice.
- Hosts see what is really saved. On the moderator, panelist and presenter screens, a change made while the connection is down (approve, reject, put on screen) now waits and is saved in order when the connection returns. Before, the screen could show "approved" while nothing had been saved.
- Clear notices. Every screen now says plainly when it is offline, how many questions or changes are waiting, and when it is reconnecting. The projector keeps showing the last update instead of going blank.
Why it matters
Venue Wi-Fi and mobile data drop all the time. Questions and moderation now hold up through that, and what you see on screen is what was saved.
